Sarcastic Fantastic: Working from home mug
From my Sarcastic Fantastic range, this one is for those of us who work from home but still somehow juggle the housework (as well as working just as hard at our jobs - let’s make that clear). Arising from an office conversation when we all discussed that when women work from home, we put a load of washing on etc, but the men of the office said when they work from home ‘they work’. They genuinely didn’t even think about putting a load of washing on. It was a universal divide - I’ve even known very senior, high up women at work say the same thing!
Working from home helps to make life work, but unless this divide/misalignment is recognised and addressed, it also enables the domestic load (and mental load) to stay very much as a female load. It’s definitely not man-bashing, more a sarcastic observation and a comment on the load that women carry. This is for you, have a cuppa with a splash of sarcasm :)
Design wraps around the whole mug - text on one side, illustration on the other. Packaged in a box to keep it safe and sound.
Quality ceramic 10oz / 284ml white mugs, dishwasher and microwave safe (although printed mugs do suffer more wear and tear in the dishwasher, so hand wash if you prefer). A good size mug for a proper cuppa - not too big and not too small (note the biscuits are mini jammy dodgers, not full size!)
